Face or Recess?
You can choose to have your blind made to fit the inside of the recess of your window or it can hang on the outside of the frame (face).
Face
This is the measurement you need to take if you want your blind to hang outside the window recess. We will make your blind exactly to these measurements including brackets.
Recess
This is the measurement you need to take if you want your blind to fit inside the window recess. Please provide the total window width and drop of the window reveal. Do not alter the measurements, as our factory will deduct 5mm off the width, for allowances to prevent tight fits.
Do not provide existing blind measurements, such as cloth width, as Roller blinds include the bracket allowance into the total width.
Important: Recess mount blinds require the brackets to be mounted into the top of the reveal, as per our fitting instructions. Mounting to the sides for a roller blind, will make the blind too small.
Light Control - The blind will have a small gap, allowing light down the sides of the cloth. If light control is important, then we recommend you face mount your blinds. Honeycomb blinds have the least amount of gap for recess mounts.
Control of Blind
How would you like to control your blind? Choose from having a chain control on the Left Side, Right Side or Motorisation.
Left Hand Chain Drive
Right Hand Chain Drive
Chain Drive – Allows you to easily raise and lower the blind to your desired height, by simply rotating the chain.
Chain side is taken from standing and facing the window. A child safety device is provided with this option, to keep the chain secured and safe.
Motorised Blinds – Select from our rechargeable battery operated motors for ICM & ACM fabrics or, our Somfy hard wired motors for ACM fabrics only.
Size Restrictions – Battery Motors can not be used on widths under 600mm or over 2500mm (or a combined width of 2500 for two linked blinds). Somfy Motor can not be used on widths under 600mm's. The Select Option will not be shown, if the restricted sizes are entered.

Roll Direction
Choose a roll direction that best suits your window needs.
Back Roll: This is the most popular, as it keeps the cloth close to the glass or architrave, to help reduce light and maintain privacy.
Front Roll: Ideal for windows that have an obstruction, such as a window winder. Not recommended when mounting on the architrave, due to the increased gap of light down the side.
